Many internet marketers don’t really know how search engines operate, so many myths about this are often repeated. It’s easy for myths to get spread around the internet, as marketers pick up incorrect information and repeat this to others. In this article we will be discussing such myths that you should avoid at all costs. Do not be left behind, get Anik Singal’s new program at this Empire Formula web site.
A frequently repeated myth is that your website needs a special page built for SEO purposes in order to rank highly. Any of your pages can be highly ranked by the search engines as long as you use basic SEO principles. So creating SEO based landing pages just doesn’t make sense. If you are advertising with PPC you do need a landing page, but it’s not needed to rank in the organic listings. Don’t worry about building a special landing page for visitors, simply have them land on your site’s home page or another important page. So if some of the pages on your site aren’t getting you traffic, it simply means you need to work on optimizing them better, rather than adding new ones. If you consider the purpose of landing pages and the importance of converting the traffic that you get, this idea should make sense to you. The need to have a Google Sitemap is another SEO myth that many people follow blindly. The Sitemap is simply one of the many tools Google offers that you can use. If you build your site the right way and make it search engine friendly, there’s absolutely no need for you to have a Google Sitemap. While it won’t harm your site, the benefits are limited to possibly getting your site indexed a little faster by the search engines. Your rankings in the SERPs will not be affected nor will your SEO efforts be aided by having it. Surely we all want to know the right way to go about making our living online. Anik Singal can answer that puzzling question as soon as and for all at this Empire Formula blog.
How much you need on your site is another SEO myth. There is a misunderstanding that you need a minimum number of words on your page. Content should be evaluated by quality of information not word count. The reason this myth came up is because having a good amount of content on your page allows you to optimize it for at least 3 to 5 keywords. Be careful not to get caught up in word count, though, as a short copy can be as effective as a longer one.
A long copy works exactly the same way as the short one. Search engines are needed to help drive traffic to your site but that site needs to geared towards your niche not just the search engines. Good content is not determined by length so any length will work. All in all, SEO may require significant work and effort to rank your site successfully, the in the end the return is more than worth it. The best way to learn SEO is through your own trial and error, and forget about all these fantasies that are completely false.
