5. Introduction To Google Checkout
from:In the last few years, the internet has played an important role both in communication and in the business area.
Nowadays, many transactions occur online in a safe and rapid manner. This has also drawn the attention of the merchants and also of the buyers. The internet has become a safe place to buy things. Also, the product offer is continuously expending because more and more manufacturers decide to go online with their products.
Cases of online fraud have become less frequent. The same goes for the misuse of the credit cards or other types of misappropriation of cash.
However, even if many methods have been put in place to make sure those things don’t happen, it is not 100% safe.
Google developed the Google Checkout. This service helps you do web buying and prevents you from becoming a fraud victim.
Google Checkout is a financial Pay Pall organization. It has been on the market in many countries. Some people even claimed that Google Checkout will be a direct competitor to PayPal. But it was not true. The main goal of Google Checkout is to give a full anonymity to the credit buyer.
This system is very easy to use. All you have to do is click on the icon that shows the shopping cart. If you need more information, you can also go on and check using the Google website.
One person can buy whatever he wants from all the participant stores.
Once you picked the products and draw them into the virtual shopping cart, the next step is to press the button - Google Checkout.
You will also need to write a few details in a form. These details are about the debit or credit card or the bank account. The merchants will not know your personal details. Google doesn’t provide that to them and it is part of your safety clauses.
Google is in this case a valid guarantee in this selling process. In case of fraud, if you report the incident in maximum 60 days, Google will refund your money.
An important thing is that Google Checkout is used for single time transactions. You can not use it to store fund and use that in future transactions, like you can do through Pay Pal. Besides this, Pay Pal allows you to transfer money from person to person. Google Checkout doesn’t allow that. But despite that, Google Checkout has proved to be a very good and friendly option for people who want to buy online and wish to avoid fraud. Every day the system has more merchants that want to use Google Checkout and many buyers go online for shopping.
