How to Turn a Dusty Old Book into a Moneymaking Machine
from:If you’re an Internet marketer and you found in the public domain an interesting book that you think it’s very interesting for other people than yourself then you should consider digitize its content and upload it on the net. You can do this very easily because there’s a large number of ways for you to choose from.
First you’ll have to scan the book into a computer. If the book has too many pages it’s recommended that you split it in several volumes when scanning. Once the book is scanned you can do whatever you want with it and that includes adding a few links that will send the readers to your websites.
It’s very important that you use a quality scanner. If you don’t have one you might want to pay someone else to scan your book. In exchange for a couple of hundred dollars you’ll receive an excellent final product.
Some people use a book for their blogs or articles and they find it very hard to work with the hard copy. That’s why for them also scanning is the best solution. Just think how easy you can find a certain phrase using the computer and how much time will require doing the same thing manually.
If searching through public domain you find a great old book then you should definitely scan it and publish it on the net.
Once you have the book in digital format you can start playing with it until you found what interests you the most. You can do anything you want with an electronic book. You can move the text around, you can mark the most interesting passages, you can use it for your blog posts and so on and so forth.
Old books from public domain are in most cases very valuable and that’s why you might want to draw a plan before playing with their content. While you’re creating you won’t make any money but if you’re plan its good the financial benefits will start to appear as soon as the new product is born.
You can play with a book for months and it’s very important to know what you’re planning to do with it right from the beginning.
For example, if all you want to do is publish a few chapters on your blog or publish a few articles from it into your article directories then you won’t need so much time. But if you consider publishing the entire content and add other important links to it then you should know that this elaborate project will require a few months. During all this time you’ll be searching for keywords, check the facts and if necessary even update the language used in the original version. It will cost you time and money but in the end it will all worth it.
Making a plan right from the beginning is very important because it will help you estimate a timeline and set your budget accordingly. If you play your cards right you can use the public domain books in your behalf because these are real treasures that will help you build a better life.
